I haven’t even finished recapping my Oregon Country Fair experience.
But I guess we’re doing this.
I haven’t written nearly as much as I would have wanted to, yet I also do not feel I have any right to punish myself for it. Nor should I. I just really miss my Grandfather.
I know I told him I wouldn’t. That I would have these memories accrued & ready to write an eulogy worthy of a man who such a consistent, steady presence in my life. The words, however, just won’t come. The bard feels lost.
The bard is lost.
Caught somewhere in the Mediterranean, blown on a bag of wings & hanging on to the mast until the waves make sense again.
Phone’s ringing in the meantime. The fab is calling & I fear I must land under the shadow of the dead.
Ramble on,
