Hey there! Casual Rambler here, just wanting to thank you for reading my blog. I try to avoid marketing myself and I don’t like paywalling content. That’s why most of this website, if not all, is free. However, subscribing to my Patreon helps me keep doing it. Patrons gain exclusive early access to poetry & other creative works. Thanks again and please enjoy the rest of the site!
Howdy, Casual Ramblers!
This update has been a long-time coming. In many ways it feels like the first real update since June.
That is to say Lyrics For a Song I Don’t Know has been submitted for publish with an estimated release date of September 24, 2026.
To say I am excited does not quite cover the full range of emotions I am experiencing right now. If anything, I feel similar to Plankton stealing the Krabby Patty formula in Spongebob Squarepants, “I never thought I’d get this far.”
Now that I am here, however, there are certain bits & bobs I want to announce.
–Firstly, all paid subscribers will receive a signed copy of Lyrics, numbered & sealed with letter & poem.
–Secondly, all free members of the Casual Ramble can purchase a signed copy of Lyrics for $15 or an unsigned copy for $12, plus shipping.
I am still waiting for my own proof copy just to finalize the first edition, but I am aiming to send out all copies by October 1 for paid subscribers. For free members of the Casual Ramble, I will fulfill orders within 3-5 business days or die trying. (One man operations with unconventional work schedules can be a struggle sometimes.)
For the remaining copies, I want to vend in public spaces & local open mics. I will be posting about such spaces & events on the Casual Ramble Instagram, so stay tuned & pop on by to say hello if so inclined.
Lastly, I want to thank every one of my readers, paid or otherwise. Never in my life did I think I would get this far on my own &, despite Lyrics being a “self-published” title, I can safely say I did not. Your support has been absolutely vital to the voice inside continuing to urge me on this path.
Now that we’ve gotten this far together, all we can do is keep going.
Because that’s all there is to do.
Til the next episode,
–The Casual Rambler
I’d like to give thanks to my wonderful patrons, Jennifer, Carson, Chloe, Roshi, Zero & Phil as well as the many free members of the Casual Ramble.
