The Portland Trail Blazers are in the postseason with a chance to take control of their first playoff series in five years. The San Antonio Spurs may be without Victor Wembanyama, but they are still a fearsome opponent all the same. I’m not here to make predictions or provide insight to what might happen on the court.
I just want to share a taste of what the end of five years between appearances felt like.
