A Casual Update About Doing More

And of course the moment that I finish writing this little ditty about doing more, my publisher called me with some news: my manuscript has been accepted and a proposal is being made. So I guess the real lesson in doing more is that we ought to do less.

(Still going to write about the Portland Trail Blazers though, that cannot be stopped.)

In other news:

The Casual Poetry Drop for March is available on the blog and the Casual Poetry Drop for April is available on Patreon. I also released my impressions of Four Tet’s 2017 album New Energy last Tuesday.

Thanks again to everyone who has subscribed to the Patreon. If you’d like to receive early access to the drops, short stories, films and other creative projects, hit the link below.

I’d like to give thanks to my wonderful patrons, Jennifer, Michael, Zero and Phil, as well as the many free members of the Casual Ramble. Without you, everything that has been would not be and everything that is to come would not happen. This post was released a week early to my Patreon supporters, if you’d like to receive early access to poetry, short films and other works, you can join the Casual Ramble Patreon via the link below!

About The Casual Rambler

An insane man moonlighting as a respectable member of society from Portland, Oregon. A rock ‘n’ roller since his mother first spun The Police’s “Roxanne,” Ben is a lover of all things independent music. Once upon a time, a friend told him to write about music. So he started doing that under the title of a Willie Bobo cover by Santana. Now he just casually rambles about whatever crosses his mind.
