This was supposed to be a different type of ramble to start off March. But I don’t ignore world changing events, man. And I won’t let them rob you and I of any agency.

Today’s word of the day is clumsy.
No, seriously, it’s clumsy.
I had wanted to write about the Portland Trail Blazers today, but meta topics are just more fun. I am nothing if not a recursion upon myself.
Just wanted you all to know that I’m still not over it. “Over what?” you may ask. It, man, it.
What do Stephen Colbert, James Talarico, Barbara Steisand, DJ Khaled and CBS all have in common?
Read the latest Casual Ramble to find out.
This is not the first time I have performed spoken word before. But this is the first time I performed while being recorded. And I am absolutely terrified to share this video.
But I’m going to share it anyways.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I have been busy writing as much as possible, downsizing my apartment and catching up with friends. I also did something I haven’t done in a while: I watched the NBA All-Star game from start to finish.
I wrote a lot of poetry in January. In Melbourne, in Brisbane. Amid town squares and fire circles. And deep within LED jams that took place not quite in the bush, but close enough. All of the poems I have decided to share this month are in various stages of rawness, but raw nevertheless.
My days off were spent mostly figuring out myself post-Australia when I could have been writing and working out a way to share videos despite not having a computer. However, I still wrote a little ditty on the Bad Bunny.
Not to be too hasty and move on from my experiences in January, but I attended my first Trail Blazers game since returning from Australia and I have some thoughts about it. Also, poetry.
