Howdy, Casual Ramblers!
I’m not one to brag about reading a book. But this past weekend, I managed to do something I haven’t done in a long while: start and finish a book in less than a week.
So there’s a certain satisfaction that has come with finishing I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. There’s a certain satisfaction that has come with writing about his work. And there’s a certain satisfaction in reclaiming an activity I once thought was lost due to years of academic reading.
But if I say anything more, I’ll preclude my ramble before you have even started reading it.
In the meantime, some updates:
- Casual Poetry will release on the Patreon tommorrow with last month’s Poetry Drop coming to the blog.
- Another review will be released on the Patreon on Thursday (guess what about!) while last week’s will go live on the blog the same day.
- The goal has always been to publish a Ramble every weekday, but it remains to be seen if I can make that pace. I’m willing to sacrifice those in the name of other projects.
Hey there! Casual Rambler here, just wanting to thank you for reading my blog. I try to avoid marketing myself and I don’t like paywalling content. That’s why most of this website, if not all, is free. However, subscribing to my Patreon helps me keep doing it. Patrons gain exclusive short stories as well as early-access to monthly poetry and photography posts. Thanks again and please enjoy the rest of the site!
I’d like to give thanks to my wonderful patrons, Jennifer, Julie, Michael, Zero, Roshi and Phil, as well as the many free members of the Casual Ramble. Without you, everything that has been would not be and everything that is to come would not happen. This post was released a week early to my Patreon supporters, if you’d like to receive early access to poetry, short films and other works, you can join the Casual Ramble Patreon via the link below!
