The Casual Update: All-Star Games

Howdy Casual Ramblers!

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I have been busy writing as much as possible, downsizing my apartment and catching up with friends. I also did something I haven’t done in a while: I watched the NBA All-Star game from start to finish.

It was a fun format. And while Deni Avdija did not have an all-out performance, I enjoyed watching a Portland Trail Blazer shine with the best of his peers. I have my full thoughts on how the new format worked out below.

In the meantime, a new Casual Camera is available on the Patreon here. And I will be releasing another Casual Poetry drop this week. During a writing session with a fellow writing peer that made me rethink how I am going to release these going forward but I have yet to make a decision. More details to come.

I’d like to give thanks to my wonderful patrons, Jennifer, Julie, Michael, Zero, Roshi and Phil, as well as the many free members of the Casual Ramble. Without you, everything that has been would not be and everything that is to come would not happen. This post was released a week early to my Patreon supporters, if you’d like to receive early access to poetry, short films and other works, you can join the Casual Ramble Patreon via the link below!

About The Casual Rambler

An insane man moonlighting as a respectable member of society from Portland, Oregon. A rock ‘n’ roller since his mother first spun The Police’s “Roxanne,” Ben is a lover of all things independent music. Once upon a time, a friend told him to write about music. So he started doing that under the title of a Willie Bobo cover by Santana. Now he just casually rambles about whatever crosses his mind.
