Howdy, Casual Ramblers!
I hope the world is treating you well; I am currently seated on the top floor of an AirBnB, listening to the city of Brisbane live and work below as I write and watch the clouds pass me by.
I have been meaning to update you all with more letters about my experience in Australia, but have been stuck in the perfect storm of having too much to do and not enough time to do it. Also, thunderstorms.
Despite the sunny weather, this is still a tropical climate and my traveling party’s agenda has been just as flighty to forecast.
Moreover, I don’t want to use anything but my typewriter to tell it and thus have been writing and scanning these letters as they come, but struggled to find time to complete the last piece of the puzzle.
And today, with its gentler skies and slower start, has been the perfect time to do so. I hope you enjoy what I have had to write and I want to give a shoutout to my Patrons: Jennifer, Julie, Michael, Zero, Roshi and Phil, as well as all of my free members.
As I have come to settle into the new year, I am prepared to ramp up the Casual Ramble bigger and better things. Until then, enjoy these letters from down under!
-The Casual Rambler
P.S. Here’s that playist I mentioned in the first letter!
