Casual Update: Thanksgiving Leftovers

It’s another Monday which means it’s time for another update! I had an eventful Thanksgiving weekend spent visiting family, friends, baking pastries and treats and perhaps not getting as much sleep as I needed.

Hence the late night update; picture me blushing.

Because I was not able to finish the post I intended for Thanksgiving, this is going to be a full week of writing, some of which is the warming up of leftovers, but also some fresh thoughts and impressions. Here’s what’s coming up:

  • Tuesday (12/2) the Casual Camera goes live on the blog; I know the Patrons have already enjoyed the variety of poetry and images accrued from a month spent living in Portland, celebrating the reopening of JaJas and so on.
  • Wednesday (12/3) I have a quarter season review for the Portland Trail Blazers scheduled for release on the blog. Read my thoughts about how the Trail Blazers are progressing this season and why it’s still too damn early to grade the team.
  • Thursday (12/4) the post I intended for Thanksgiving goes live on Patreon; it took a moment for it to take shape, but I am immensely excited for it.

As always, I want to thank my patrons for their support, patience, brilliance, all the good stuff. If you wish to receive early access to poetry, videos and more creative works, you can join the Casual Ramble’s Patreon page today!

Patrons receive early-access to monthly poetry, short stories and short films as well as exclusive access to Patron-only short stories, poetry, and behind-the-scenes content. Every additional Patron lets me continue my dream of being a full-time creative, and I appreciate your support.

About The Casual Rambler

An insane man moonlighting as a respectable member of society from Portland, Oregon. A rock ‘n’ roller since his mother first spun The Police’s “Roxanne,” Ben is a lover of all things independent music. Once upon a time, a friend told him to write about music. So he started doing that under the title of a Willie Bobo cover by Santana. Now he just casually rambles about whatever crosses his mind.
